The ancient practice of Yoga is as popular as ever! Yoga improves strength, balance, flexibility and general fitness. Improvements can be seen in sleep, stress and anxiety levels when incorporating breath work and relaxation techniques.

Hatha

In literal terms Hatha means Force. It is the practice of physical Yoga postures that aim to balance the mind and body through movement. It is a slower paced class incorporating more static posture holds whilst using breathing techniques to help quieten the mind and relax the body. Improvements in flexibility strength and fitness are improved. These classes are for all ages and abilities.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa classes are known for their fluid movement-intense practices. Vinyasa classes will flow smoothly, transitioning from pose to pose with intensity building and is a faster paced class, as a result these classes are designed to address the more harmful sedentary and deskbound 21st century lifestyles. Aiming to restore balance, lengthening overtight muscles, improving fitness and flexibility and strength. Classes are suitable for all ages and mixed abilities. At present I'm not teaching Vinyasa style classes. My Hatha sequences incorporate flow and lots of movement.
